We Set Up and Maintain a Worm Composting System. It is natural digestive process, turn organic waste into worm castings. These worm castings, combined with partially processed organic matter, form vermicompost. Vermicompost is nature’s organic fertilizer. We assist farmers by:-
 

1. Housing:- We have Sheltered culturing of worms and recommended to protect the worms from excessive sunlight and rain.
2. Containers:- We constructed Cement tanks. This are separated in half by a dividing wall. Another set of tanks are also constructed for preliminary decomposition.
3. Bedding and Feeding materials:- During the beginning we used cowdung in order to breed sufficient numbers of earthworms. Once they have large populations, they can start using all kinds of organic waste

Advantages of Vermicompost:-

1. Vermicompost is rich in all essential plant nutrients.

2. Vermicompost is free flowing, easy to apply, handle and store and does not have bad odour.

3. It improves soil structure, texture, aeration, and waterholding capacity and prevents soil erosion.

5. Vermicompost is free from pathogens, toxic elements, weed seeds etc.

6.  Vermicompost minimizes the incidence of pest and diseases.

7.  It enhances the decomposition of organic matter in soil.

8. It contains valuable vitamins, enzymes and hormones like auxins, gibberellins etc.
